First app on nAxiom platform in 15 minutes
Can you create your own app without extensive programming knowledge? Yes, it is possible with a low-code platform. On the nAxiom platform, you can build an app in as little as 15 minutes. Check out what you need to do to build an app that supports a simple, one-step process.
By design, low-code technology is supposed to simplify and thus speed up the construction of applications. And so it does, because instead of coding, most of the work involves using ready-made components available in the platform.
My first application built in nAxiom
Let's assume that we want to build an application for registering complaints.
1. Application definition - The first step is to define the application. We do this by adding the application name to the Application List. We remind you that in the nAxiom platform we can create any number of different applications.
2. Defining the data model - this is a key element of every application built on our platform. We choose a standard model and define tables that store data of the business process that the application is to serve. A set of tables allows you to model relationships between data. Tables can be designed using the Data Model Creator tool.
3. Generating application elements - after defining the necessary data, we run the machine to generate application elements. By selecting the standard model in the previous step (one of the three available), we have a guarantee of automatic generation of all objects necessary for the correct operation of the future application.
4. Form and list view - one of the elements generated by the machine are forms and lists. Based on these elements, we build the user interface. Initially, a simple form can be easily expanded with elements available from the UI Designer level by dragging individual elements available in the Toolbox. In the case of the generated list, you can easily enable functions such as sorting, grouping, export to Excel or paging. This is a step that can be skipped and moved to the next one.
5. User menu - in this step, we define the menu for the generated and modified list.
6. Granting permissions to functionality - the user can access the application only when they have an appropriately assigned role.
7. Launch - occurs by logging in to the nAxiom website, using the login data of the user with the assigned role of "Quality Controller".
The above presents a simplified process of building the application. By choosing the solution we offer, you will receive a training package and detailed instructions that will allow you to create your own application in as little as 15 minutes.
Tell us your problem and we will suggest how you can solve it.
We take very seriously every question addressed to us. If you tell us what you need, we will discuss together which solutions will best meet your expectations. If you want to learn more about the nAxiom platform, we will tell you and provide you with additional materials. And if you would like to take part in a webinar, we will tell you when the next online meeting will take place and what topics it will cover.
